Commonwealth Chess Championships 2019 The All India Chess Federation on behalf of FIDE and Commonwealth Chess Association Cordially invite your Federation to participate in the Championship to be held at New Delhi, India from 29th June to 7th July 2019 organized by Delhi Chess Association Entry Fee: Open Event For GMs and IMs (Above 2450) Free WGMs and WIMs (Above 2250) Free Official entries $75 Additional Entries $150 or INR 10000 for Indian Players Age Category Events Official Entries $75 Additional Entries $150 or INR 10000 for Indian Players No request towards waiver of the entry fee will be entertained. The last date of entry: 05th June 2019 Entries with late fee of Rs. 2000: 29th June 2019 Time Control: 90 Minutes + 30 sec per move from move number 1. Tournament Rules: System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 09 rounds in Open and 07 rounds in age category events. The age category events will be conducted as separate age events for Open & Girls, in case if there are not enough players (10 players minimum), the organizers have the right to merge section. Tie Break: In the case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come into effect. The Cash prizes, however, will not be shared.
